Welcome to Callie's Barkery!

Hi, my name is Judy Strickland. I started making dog treats for Callie, my cocker spaniel, a few years ago so I could make sure she'd have the healthiest, all natural treats I could provide for her. She's had a few health issues so I really watch what she eats. Yes... She's spoiled, but she deserves it!

After 20+ years in the corporate world I was getting a little grumpy. Or maybe I just didn't get it. Either way I decided, with the support of my hubbie, to quit my job and start making treats full time. Since Callie liked them so much I wanted to continue making them for her and all her friends. And to see her sitting in the kitchen, waiting to taste the results is a wonderful reward. The best part of my job is being with Callie all day. So after many adjustments (and much happiness!), she and I have come up with what she says (and I agree) are some really tasty, healthy treats.

Callie has a very important job in the Barkery. She is the company's CTO - Chief Tasting Officer. The treats have to have her paw of approval and yummy in her tummy consent before we consider putting them on the Products page for others to enjoy. Your special pups will love you for giving them the healthiest, yummiest treats they've ever tasted.

Our treats are all natural: No Preservatives, No Chemicals, No Artificial Colors, and No Artificial Ingredients. And no added salt or sugar. We use only "people" ingredients in our treats and encourage our doggie parents to give them a try. We have! Sometimes we can't resist!

Callie and I are also doing all we can to be a "green" company. We recycle all containers we use - our glass, plastic, cans, and cardboard - anything we can. We also shred our scrap paper and use it when we pack up your treats for shipping. So all my printing errors don't go to waste! That's a relief.
